No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not improve your chance of winning.
Who can enter
Anyone 18 or over who can collect the prize in person in Walnut Creek, California. Employees of Whale Bread, Verde Gourmet and Ananas Coffee, and their immediate households, are not eligible.
How to enter
Subscribe to the Whale Bread email list, at the counter or online. Subscribing is free. Every active subscriber is automatically entered in each weekly drawing for as long as they stay subscribed — you don't need to re-enter. One entry per person per drawing. Unsubscribing removes you from future drawings.
The prize
One loaf of Whale Bread sourdough per week. Approximate retail value $15. Not transferable, no cash alternative.
How the winner is chosen
At random from all eligible entries in that week's drawing. Odds depend on the number of subscribers at the time.
Collecting it
The winner is notified by email. The loaf is collected in person on the following Saturday at 1372 North Main Street, Walnut Creek, during opening hours. Bring the notification email. If it isn't collected that Saturday it's forfeited, and an alternate winner may be drawn.
Publicity
Accepting the prize allows Whale Bread to use the winner's first name and city. We won't publish a full name, email address or photograph without separate permission.
Changes
Whale Bread may modify, suspend or end this promotion at any time.
